British participants wrote a press release about Olympic Legacy to prepare a radio show:

Olympic Legacy Project
Ten lucky students from Manor CE Academy, York will be representing the UK and heading out to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 to take part in an Olympic Legacy Project organised by ‘Everything is Possible’. The party from the UK will be setting off on Sunday 7th August for the first week of the Olympics and will be back on Tuesday 16th August to share their stories with anyone willing to listen. They hope to recapture the spirit of London 2012 and help make Rio 2016 a big success.
The organisation leading the project, Everything is Possible, is working in partnership with the Polgár Foundation, Hungary and Gol de Letra, Brazil to develop cultural exchange with ten young people from each country coming together in Rio during the games. Those involved will also be volunteering at the games and have a chance to attend some of the events.
Erasmus+ is funding the majority of the project, with the group are working hard to raise £5000 from sponsorship and fundraising activities to go towards activities and volunteering during their stay in Brazil. The group are looking for sponsorship, so if you would like to give a little something, or you simply want to ask a question, please contact the Patrick Tasker or Manor CE Academy at
